Careers in environmental science can range from field research in ecology to geochemistry to public policy. A broad background including experience with animals, plants, ecology, chemistry, physics and math is important to any environmental scientist.

Life after NCC:
- Employment possibilities include government (EPA, DOE, etc.), consulting firms or academic research
