Research is the process of discovery: it's how the information in the textbook gets there! Careers in life science research range from a bachelor's-level job as a research assistant in a university or industry research lab to a career directing a research laboratory, which generally requires a PhD. Research careers are available in any life-science field, and your choice of courses depends on the area you would like to study.
Recommended majors: Biochemistry or BS in Biology
