Linda Elleson (Biology, 1982) For most of the past 20 years, Linda has worked as an Outdoor Adventure Educator, taking people rock climbing, backpacking, caving, whitewater kayaking, rafting, etc. Most of the time, these adventures are a vehicle for personal growth or therapy. Linda has worked with school groups, corporate executives, and "regular adults," but currently runs a program for her favorite population, juvenile delinquents. She believes that energy and resources spent to change people's behavior are best spent when those people are young and still able to change with relative ease. Linda LOVES her job and believes she is making a difference in the kids' lives. Among her own adventures was a climbing expedition to Cerro Aconcaqua in Argentina (photo). |
