How do cells grow, divide, communicate, transmit information and respond to their environment? Bio 102 explores questions such as these, focusing on how living things work at the cellular and molecular level. It is the second half of our introductory biology series for biology and biochemistry majors and is usually taken in a student's first year at North Central.

Announcements

  • Midterm grades have been posted on Merlin for all students. These grades are strictly "by the numbers:" 85-100 = A, 75-85 = B, etc. We have not considered any possible adjustments at this point, so this is simply a "reality check" to let you know where you are. Remember that 380 of our 560 points are still to come, so it is possibly to significantly improve your grade at this point. If your midterm grade is lower than a C- and you haven't had a conversation with one of us, please do so!
  • Biology Workshop meets every Thursday, at 12:30 p.m. in SC 209. This is a great place to get questions answered, work practice problems, get help with lab data, etc.
