Elizabeth Braham Spencer is an adjunct faculty member and the Emmy award-winning executive director of Naperville Community Television, Channel 17 (NCTV17).

At North Central College Liz dedicates herself to educating the next generation of broadcast professionals. She teaches television production and video editing as well as leading the Cardinal Video student organization. In 2002 she began NCTV17's internship program. Students who participated have gone on to pursue careers in television production, broadcast journalism, or communication at larger organizations including CNN and ABC.

At NCCTV17, she is the Executive Producer of the National Communicator Award winning 'Naperville News 17' and 'Naperville Sports Weekly' and serves as host of the popular show 'Business Connection' which marks its sixth year in 2011. Under her leadership, the station became one of the first television stations in the country to offer simultaneous video streaming of all its programming.

Distinguished Service Award of Excellence by the Illinois Chapter of the National School Public Relations Association, recognized by the Naperville Jaycees

ACT (Action for Children's Television) Award where she won over 'Sesame Street'
