Zachary Michael Jack is the author or editor of many award-winning books highlighted in such venues as the Los Angeles Times and the Chicago Tribune. Jack has served as a newspaper section editor, an assistant producer for a public radio arts magazine, and a designer of fine arts book editions. He has recorded audio commentaries and interviews with public radio stations nationwide, among them Alabama Public Radio, Augustana Public Radio, and Iowa Public Radio. Within Interactive Media Studies he teaches English 465: Advanced Nonfiction, Multimedia, a one-of-a-kind course exploring the intersection of creative writing with recorded oral and folk histories, live performance, audio commentaries, and radio theater.
